Board members
The MEE Board is largely made up from professional stakeholders
following nominations from the appropriate bodies (professional
bodies, employers, trade unions and senior NHS leadership).
There are also members from the Department of Health: the Chief
Officers for dentistry, pharmacy and science, the Director of
Medical Education, the Director General of Workforce, the National
Clinical Director and the NHS Medical Director.
The MEE Board has a non-Department of Health majority and will
initially meet six times a year.
