Education Roundtable
Health Service Journal (HSJ) hosted a roundtable in
January on the government's restructuring of the NHS education and
training system. The roundtable brought together leading figures in
healthcare education including Christine Outram, SRO for Health
Education England (HEE) and current Managing Director of MEE
and Kate Lampard, Chair of the steering group for HEE.
Reflecting on the role of HEE at the heart of the proposed
changes Chris said, "The first aim of this must be to be responsive
to changes in society and changes in need, including public health
needs." She also stressed the importance of cross-professional
working and incentivising quality. To read more of
